I enjoy life and the challenges it brings , after all it's not all fun. I think that the word that describes me the very most is resilient. I am in a good point in my life and I think that makes it right to meet people. I'm not going write just the things that I think people want to hear , maybe not politically correct , but , honest. I love music . I love the outdoors , both working and being there. I would describe the online thing as somewhat pushing the fate of destiny button . I also believe that things happen for a reason . I believe that our souls are couriers and that we take ourselves to where we want to get to . I think we meet people when we are meant to meet them and where we meet them , even if it is online . I think there are certain things I'm looking for , but , mostly if you have an open mind and are willing to try new things and comprimise , you can go to alot of places in life. I am here because I am patient and know what I want . I think that meeting in person is very important . I think there is no subsitute for seeing someone for the first time. I try to live by the mantra of you learn from the past , plan for the future , and live for the here and now. I would say that I am not entirely optimistic , nor am I totally pessimistic. I guess that makes me somewhat of a realist. I have become a better person over time. I can be a little bold and direct sometimes . I like good conversation , especially over coffee , wine , or a good brew. I like a wide variety of subjects , from politics to sports. I like listening to live music. I also like staying in with the right company. I think am a simple person with simple needs and wants , but have complex thoughts from time to time . I don't have a fear of commitment , just a fear of commitment with the wrong person . A self defense thing , I guess. I would not be here if I wasn't ready to date for real. I am the proud father of one son Ok , now to the nitty gritty ....Jaws is my all time favorite movie and it has nothing to do with the shark . Its protrayal of characters is amazing and the fact it brought in the USS Indianapolis is great . I also loved Saving Private Ryan and often wish I was the character that Tom Hanks played , who is one of my favorite actors . How can you leave out Robin Williams , who in my opinion , is pound for pound , one of my all time best actors . I can be a somewhat deep thinker and can also just think about nothing at all . A relaionship ?? Wow , what is that anyway ? I think I can remember what that is like . Ahhh , the girl of my dreams . She nevers seems to have a certain face or feature . She is just there , somewhere . I honestly think that women need stability in a relationship , and also reliability . I think I have that . I do have ever evolving thoughts and would like someone to share them with .....
