What can I say about myself, really? I don't consider myself to be a very interesting person, all things considered. Enough about that, though. I like reading (a variety of things, mostly non-fiction, like about various militaries or about sports), soccer (or football to Europeans and Latin Americans), writing (mostly semi-autobiographical stories), cricket (a game played by former British colonies), chess and animals - I used to feed the local birds before they kept swarming around our house and I own a dog and a guinea pig - they have both enriched my life in ways that are hard to describe. My family have, too.
I have a pretty solid figure, but I do at least 20 minutes of intense exercise a day when I'm not working. Some of the photos make me look fatter than I am, too.
I speak English, some Spanish, Portuguese and a little bit of Malay - my mother is from Malaysia. She's mostly of French background, so that is basically why I have white skin - my father is of mostly British descent. Since the educational department in Queensland are idiots, I've never had the opportunity to learn a language of much use outside of Japan in school. Foreigners are more fortunate in that aspect. That being said, I did manage to learn Spanish (and some Portuguese) mostly by myself.
I don't think of myself as being attractive, but not really ugly, either. I cringe at most of my photos.
I don't drink or smoke. I don't drink because I hate both beer and wine (alcoholic drinks of choice in Australia) and because I want to manage my weight. I've seen what alcohol has done to my grandfather. I don't smoke because it is expensive and hazardous to long-term health.
I'm a Roman Catholic, though not as devout as I imagine an Evangelical South African would be. I believe in God and go to church once every few weeks, but I get bored there.
My star sign is Leo, but that really doesn't reflect me. I'm introvertedw and tend more towards prudence than hedonism. I don't really feel comfortable in clubs and the like - the noise and the lights get to me.
I have a Master's Degree from the University of Queensland (in Governance and Public Policy). I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with Accounting and Finance majors. I'm currently employed in an accounting firm...as an accountant, predictably enough :D.
I don't like being arrogant, but I like to think of myself as being loyal, intelligent and monogamous - casual sex is not something I'm interested in.
