Working a full day and being a single mom doesn't really allow time for much. My job is from 8-5 weekdays and my "other" job is a 24 hour job with no pay! I enjoy sports as well as arts and culture. I really enjoy going to stand up comics and theatre productions. I enjoy reading mainly no fiction, generally crime, political and historical books. I really enjoy learing new things all the time and I also like to attend interesting interesting lectures etc.
I've travelled to the following countries, USA, France, Germany, UK, New Zealand, Australia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, DRC, Swaziland, Lesotho. Due to the nature of my job and the industry, I get the opportunity to travel quite a bit. I'm going to Oz, NZ and Thailand in July next year with my daughter for month and can't wait for Thailand as I have never gone anywhere in the East before. I really would love to visit Egypt and Russia but that will only happen in a few years time.
I have always been non-racist and have always fully supported the concept of democracy. I have many non-white friends but have never dated anyone non-white. I've never really thought about it and I suppose I will just see how things go and take it from there.
I would have to arrange for my daughter to go to grandparents for the weekend as "romantic" and "children" cannot be used in the same sentence! Somewhere quiet, not in the middle of a large city. Something at the beach, mountains or game reserve. With the pace of life as hectic as it is today, I think a simple weekend away with the person you love is romantic in itself. No phones, no TV, just the 2 of us, Going to walks, enjoiy the surroundings, candlelit dinners, sleep-in snuggles, exploring the local shops and restaurants and generally just being together.
Bubbly and friendly with a good sense of humour.
Someone who is kind, caring, passionate, intelligent, motivated and responsible. They would have to like children as I have a 6 year old daughter who is most precious to me. Someone who I can call not only my lover, but also my best friend. However, I don't want to rush into anything and would like to slowly get to know someone and then take it from there.
