I am 57 years young, with brown/gray hair and blue eyes. I am an honest, outgoing type of person with a passion for Britain, the people, the history, customs, food and the overall way of living. I would love to live by the sea if possible, loving walks on the beach and watching dramatic, stormy weather whilst on the beach. I love dancing but nothing Latin American for me, I am more into Ballroom type dancing although far from professional - LOL. I also love to play pool and being ambidextrous, I play left and right handed. Another thing about Britain that I do love (and I love a lot) is the canal system and the narrow boats and a dream of mine is to one day have my own boat if possible - if my ship comes in! I have so many books on Britain that I can actually start my own little library. I haven't counted these books but there may be in the region of around 200, possibly more. Being a bit of a book hoarder (apart from the above), I also collect jigsaw puzzles, mostly with a nautical theme of which I probably have around 300+. I was engaged to a Brit whom I had known since 2006 and we were to be married around October 2014 however I was terribly and cruelly let down by this man after we had discussed marriage for over seven months after we had known each other for eight years at the time. He never even uttered a word of sorry over what he had put me through and the effects it had and still has on my life. Lastly, my birthday is in April but I am unable to change that without having to upload a copy of my ID which I am not willing to do.
