I love to eat. I love to cook. I love to ride bicycles. I love to swim. Sadly for my physical condition, those very much go in that order. I've also been a bit of a workaholic over the years, which hasn't helped, either. I do hope to make new mistakes, though, rather than repeat the old ones!
My sense of humor relies a lot on word play and American pop culture. I'm often self-deprecating, which can bother people for some reason. I also tend to favor quantity over quality. You don't have to agree that I have a quick wit, but you can meet me half-way (that was a "half wit" joke embedded there...). You've been warned! :-)
Do check the "vital statistics" and other attributes on my profile. That may save us both some time. A serious relationship is my long term goal, but I am being very picky in how I proceed. I want everyone to be happy, and if that means that you are better off with someone else, I want us to find that out as quickly as possible. And I do wish you well!!
On a slightly deeper level, I'm an introvert (INTJ, strongly typed in all 4 attributes) who values a few high quality relationships, and that also makes me a good listener. You will be the center of my universe, so I'd like to understand what makes you tick. If I'm co-hosting a party, then I'm generally working the kitchen to keep the food and drink flowing. I'm not one who enjoys mingling, and I'm terrible at small talk. If you have patience with me through the awkward early stages, you may just be rewarded.
I enjoy the outdoors, especially mountains and woods. I've done over 50 SCUBA dives, but I'm not really a beach kind of guy. A perfect day, for me, would be a nice hike in the mountains; swimming in a river, lake or spring; and then cuddling on the couch for dinner and a movie. Simple. :-)
